So, it’s all over the media that youngsters throughout the land have spontaneously organized to march against guns and it is the beginning of a revolution.

Former President Barack Obama gleefully states he now aspires to create “a million young Barack Obamas or Michelle Obamas” who will pick up the baton in what he describes as the “relay race that is human progress.”

Ugh . . .

He shouldn’t get his hopes up just yet, at least according to an op-ed by a noted researcher that was published in the Washington Post. Contrary to what’s been reported in many media accounts, the D.C. March for Our Lives crowd was not primarily made up of teenagers. Only about 10 percent of the participants were under 18. The average age of the adults in the crowd was just under 49 years old.

The hard facts of the researcher reveal that as usual the march to try and destroy our constitution was organized and financed by George Soros and his fellow America hating socialist organizations like Moveon.org. The protestors were the same assorted thugs he always uses to advance his destructive agenda.

It turns out that they were less motivated by the issue of gun control, and in fact, only 12 percent of the people interviewed reported that they were motivated to join the march because of the gun-control issue; instead, new protesters reported being motivated by the issues of peace (56 percent) and Trump (42 percent), who has been a galvanizing force for many protests. Unsurprisingly, it was a very liberal crowd: 79 percent identified as “left-leaning” and 89 percent reported voting for Hillary Clinton.

It is amazing to me that our so-called legislative leaders and the media demonize the NRA that kills zero people per day and receives zero of our tax dollars and yet heralds Planned Parenthood that kills 887 babies per day, (1 every 90 seconds,) and receives $500 million of our tax dollars to do it.

It is so illogical to defy rational explanation. So, let me get this straight in the Parkland Florida school shooting:

  • The school failed
  • The FBI failed
  • Broward police failed
  • The cowardly officer on site failed
  • And it’s the NRA’s fault????

One of their purported goals is to raise the legal age to purchase a gun to 21. Check out this graphic and reflect on the logic of this.

Should we also deny young people the right to vote and serve in the military until they are 21? I could hear these same people calling for banning all guns howling from D.C. if we said the constitution was ancient history and no longer valid and the right to vote was denied them.

Or how about the issue of arming teachers? Check out this photo?

When terrorists attacked a school in Maalot in 1974, Israel did not declare every school a gun-free zone. It passed a law mandating armed security in schools, provided weapons training to teachers, and today runs frequent active shooter drills. There have been only two school shootings since then and in both instances, teachers killed the assailant very quickly before a full massacre could develop.

Some other interesting things we could probably learn from Israel:

  • It’s mandatory that young People Serve in the military and they are armed 24/7
  • They eat right and don’t over-medicate
  • The murder rate for the entire country is a fraction of what one small city in the US, (Nashville TN,) is
  • Parents teach respect and Godly values instead of letting Disney and computer games raise their children
  • They not only stand for their flag, they are ready to defend it with their lives!

The problem in this country is not guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens, it is the breakdown of the family unit and the devaluation of human life. Destruction of the family unit is one of the primary targets of our enemies, especially the Prince of Darkness . . . But don’t despair because there is unwavering hope in Jesus Christ.

1 John 4:4

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
