I’ve been in Fresno California for the last two days speaking to various groups. I talked to people from rescue missions yesterday morning, Fresno’s top business leaders at a luncheon, and last night I spoke at the Cornerstone Church which is held in a historic theater downtown Fresno and is attended primarily by former and current gang members and various street people. This morning I do a radio show and then I return to Florida.
It was an exciting time and many people made decisions to follow Christ. I have been speaking for decades and I don’t think I’ve ever seen people more concerned about what is going on in this world. There is a severe case of angst that is reaching epidemic proportions and people are afraid of the future.
God is not surprised by what is happening. He predicted that the world would become more and more evil right up until the day He comes back. Make no mistake that He will set things right and He has promised that everyone, including those who smirk at God and persecute His church, will one day bow the knee to the Lord.
In the meantime, a great harvest of souls will take place. That is occurring right now all over the world. Those in the media and elsewhere refuse to show it, but nonetheless it is occurring. It is my hope that you will do your part in sharing the Gospel. Political correctness is satanic and designed by Satan for Satan and deters many people from even mentioning the name of Jesus publicly. Don’t become a part of it.
In all four Gospels the last thing Jesus did before ascending into heaven after His crucifixion was to tell us to go and preach the Gospel and disciple the nations. He wasn’t telling just a few of us to do it, but ALL of us. Paul said we should preach the Gospel boldly. As for me I don’t care if anyone on this planet thinks I’m a religious fanatic, right wing fundamentalist, or whatever . . . I do care what God thinks about me though. And remember in just one generation no one will care what this society said or thought about you and your faith in God. But everyone will care what God thought about such things forever.
I believe time is running out. Make your choice to follow Jesus or the world today. Jesus said you cannot have it both ways. Love God or love the world. The world is passing away along with everything in it, but the Kingdom of God will last forever.
Hmmm . . . This isn’t too hard of a decision to make huh?
