Some guy wrote me and started complaining again about my speaking out about the election referring to my commentary as political rants. This bird seems to think I hate anyone who disagrees with me. He also seems to think that we shouldn’t say anything negative about anyone’s behavior and that is what Christ would want. I perceive him to be a pseudo intellectual, ignorant of Scripture, and my heart.

There is an all-out attack on Christ and His church. Believers need to speak out against and not stick their head in the sand, but how we speak to it is important. To be honest I don’t have a problem with Obama, Hillary, Bernie, or even multi-billionaire George Soros and others who are funding it.

Why?

Because the attack is not coming from them; it is coming from satan and demonic oppressors. True these folks are being used as vessels to advance pure evil, but Holy Scripture clearly indicates that we do not wrestle with “flesh and blood”. Meaning ours is spiritual warfare and the real enemy is not them but satan. The aforementioned folks are merely flesh and blood and satan is attacking them just like everyone else and they sin just as we do, and I pray for them.

I despise what I see happening to this country. Morality is spiraling down to the abyss, God is being mocked at every opportunity, and dangerously we are moving away from our support of Israel. Make no mistake the primary reason that God has blessed this country in the first place is because we have supported her and when we fail to do so there WILL be consequences. The Bible is exceedingly clear on this point.

Today former speaker John Boehner called Ted Cruz a despicable S.O.B. and compared him to Lucifer. The guy that wrote me the letter said essentially the same about Donald Trump. Hillary is vilified by practically everyone as being a crook including those in her own party. Bernie is portrayed as a Socialist who took his honeymoon in Russia and wants to destroy capitalism and setup a quasi-Communist state.

Satan does not even get an honorable mention as being a target by any commentary and yet he is the “head of the snake”. At the end of the day the Bible tells us that we are to choose good leaders and in order to do that we must vote. There are only a couple of choices that remain for believers and we must vote on the one that will do the most to reduce evil. We aren’t electing a Pope and this is not a race for Sainthood. All these Pharisee-like folks who insist that the candidate must be morally pure, and obey all of their religiosity rules before they can bear to vote for them are simply delusional because no one including me or anyone in the world is free from sin; (not even them).

Who can lead with values that will slow down or stop the advance of evil, or maybe even turn the tide a little until we can regroup and get more people understanding a biblical worldview is what believers should be trying to figure out. Yes that means we must vote for someone who is not perfect.

Dang get over it and quit writing me about this. I rest my case and am weary of this argument.

Onward!

Have a great weekend and go to Honey Lake Church or somewhere this Sunday.

Eph. 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
