Today as you enjoy a scrumptious meal, time spent with family and friends, football, hunting and other activities, please take time to offer thanksgiving to our Lord and Savior.
I thought I would never live to see 25 years old and in fact it is a miracle that I did, and yet today I celebrate my 68th birthday. I woke up this morning thanking God for His grace and love and in having mercy upon this old sinner. I’m still upright and have avoided the morgue in spite of all of my rebellion and craziness especially through those tumultuous early years of my life.
Though I deserve just the opposite He has showered me with underserved blessings of the highest order, not the least of which is a wonderful family and friends whom I love; a warm place to sleep; and more food than I need. Most importantly He has called me to the ministry to serve Him, and what an honor to be a part of His plans during these difficult Last Days.
I’m proud to say that I’m very appreciative for what He has done to bless me, my family, and this country. Even with all of her problems, the United States is still the best place on earth to live. This is God’s gift to us and we should be thankful.
So enjoy your turkey day, but for sure take time to spend on your knees thanking Jesus. If you are traveling take it slow and easy, and arrive alive. God bless you!
Thank you Jesus! We love You! We adore You! We love You! Thank You Jesus!
