I’m one third of the way through with writing my novel and as I finish chapter after chapter, the members of the focus group that I’ve assembled to read it have been telling me that it is a fascinating read, and one good sign is that they are bugging me to hurry up and get the next chapter completed so they can see what happens next.
It’s amazing to me how I keep getting terrific ideas to improve it on a daily basis. I cannot take credit for them because I definitely believe that I’m getting help from the Lord. I mean where else do ideas come from?
Anyone who has read my autobiography, Miracle on Luckie Street, understands how God has repeatedly touched my life and literally miracle after miracle has occurred right before my eyes. Miracles are for everyone and I hope that you notice, appreciate, and give God credit for them in your own lives. I don’t believe in coincidence anymore and I have faith that God wants this book to be written in a certain way.
My new book is centered on the end time biblical prophecy that tells us that the entire world will hear the word of God before Jesus returns for His children. My version is fiction in that the method God uses to see that this event occurs is based upon my imagination, but the fact that God’s spirit will definitely be poured out upon the world is based upon biblical truth and according to the Bible will definitely occur sometime during the Last Days and before the Rapture.
It’s been a fun exercise because it has stimulated me to study this particular prophecy and dream about a possible scenario for it to happen. I have poured over Scripture and studied it in detail. I’ve gotten up at two and three a.m. morning after morning and studied and studied and studied the Bible trying to understand all that has been written about this occurrence. I’ve also spent plenty of time thinking and dreaming up my version of how God pulls it off. I’m probably wrong, but it has been fun fantasizing about it…
The book has plenty of intrigue, danger, romance, murder, angels, demons, mystery, action, and other elements that make it keenly interesting, but the last chapter is a grand slam home run. My book details much about the spiritual warfare that we are engaged in on a daily basis and I’m dead certain that just like satan tried to prevent the birth of Christ during the days of Herod that he will work hard to prevent the word of God from being spread throughout the globe to every inhabitant living on earth, preferring instead to ruin as many lives as possible.
The reality of our situation is that we are nearing the end times NOW, and many Bible scholars believe that indeed we are in them now. The Internet has done much to spread the word of God from continent to continent, but there are still those who have not heard it. Visions and dreams are taking place in many of those remote places and those can only come from God and His angels and are part of God’s pouring out of His Spirit.
Make no mistake the good news is a ‘coming to all who inhabit this earth. A common fallacy among some Bible believers is that this will lead to revival throughout the world, but sadly the Bible negates that theory and insists that the world will become more and more evil just as it did in the days of Noah. Some will be saved, but many more will choose to follow the world and reject God.
I urge you to read the Bible and focus on its prophecies. We can read the newspaper each day and see them come true, and marvel that these predictions were written thousands of years ago. Wow a day is like a thousand years to the Lord and the time dimension does not affect him. We humans are the only ones who wear watches in all of creation, and we too will shed those soon enough, and then time will be no more for us either. Selah…
Acts 2:17
In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams
