Can there ever be peace in Israel? Yes indeed, according to the Bible there will be peace in the Holy Land, but it will not be brought about by grinning narcissist politicians. There may be occasional cease-fires now and then, including an abbreviated stint whereby the Antichrist will bring about a short-lived halt to the fighting, but none of it will last very long.
Real peace will not come until Jesus returns to rule on earth for 1000 years. Until then you can expect to see more of the same, namely war, bloodshed, and hate in this land. It lifts the hair on my neck to see Israel on the news every night and to see the predictions of the Bible clearly manifesting themselves before our eyes.
For reasons known only to Him, God selected this tiny little country as His chosen people’s Holy Land. It was predicted by the prophets of old that after the Jews rejected Jesus as their Messiah and crucified Him, that the Temple would be destroyed, and the Jews would be taken out of Israel as slaves and scattered all over the world. That is exactly what happened and the Holy Land became inhabited by others and the Dome of the Rock was built by them on the exact location where the Temple once stood and Muslims worship there today.
But hold on a minute, the Bible also teaches that the Jewish people would one day return to the Holy Land. It is one of the signs that Jesus gave us indicating that when we see the Jews gather and return to the Holy Land, we will know that the end of time is near. Miraculously that prophecy occurred in just six days, when against all odds the Jews successfully invaded and won their country back in the early 1940?s, nearly 2000 years after they had been removed and scattered abroad.
Since that time, its former Arab occupants have been fighting to get it back. We watch them every night on the news. They will not win and it will eventually escalate into the “Mother of all wars”, better known as Armageddon. Most non-Christian nations will side with the Arabs; indeed as this is written many nations are aligning themselves against them just as predicted in the Bible. (Isn’t it a shame Obama is leading our country in that direction at every available opportunity. Is he a Muslim?)
But God is not about to allow that to happen and has made it known to us through His Holy Bible that He will destroy their enemies in miraculous fashion. Fortunately all of Christ’s followers will be removed by Jesus prior to the worst of it through an event known as the Rapture.
This horrific war will rage on and it will reach a point that the entire world would be destroyed if God did not step in and put a stop to the fighting and bloodshed. The Bible says that blood will flow as deep as a horse’s neck. Jesus will bring peace when he returns, but between now and then it is going to get much, much worse.
I don’t know about you, but I am happy that I will be with Jesus in paradise and not be here for this cataclysmic worldwide war. It is bad enough watching the fighting, bombings, and hate-filled people every night on the evening news. Thank you in advance Jesus for taking me and all other Christians out of this world prior to it happening.

Hmmm…If you are not sure that you will be with Jesus when this occurs, you need to ask Him to forgive you of your sins, acknowledge that he is the living Son of God who died for all of our sins, and repent. Once you do that, you need not worry about anything again. Jesus will be with you for eternity!
