Jesus used parables to get his message across to the people to whom He ministered. A parable can be described as an earthly story with a heavenly message.
One of the most interesting parables is the one about the wheat and the tares,(Matt.13:24-43). Throughout the history of mankind.some Christians have taken the approach that we should destroy non-Christians. In this parable Jesus maintains that we should wait for the Lord and His angels to undertake that mission. His parable indicates that the wheat, (representing Christians),and the tares, (representing non-Christians), will be allowed to grow up together and at the end of the age, the reapers, (angels), will separate them. The tares/non-Christians will be bundled together and cast into the furnace of fire and the wheat/righteous shall shine on in the Kingdom of heaven.
Jesus ended the parable by stating that “He who has ears” should listen. We all have ears but unfortunately not everyone listens. As we watch the entire world focus on the tiny patch of land in Israel, all but the most stubborn readily recognize the prophecies in the Bible concerning God’s Holy Land being fulfilled. We are nearing the “end days”. The angels will reap the harvest. Will you be bundled with the tares or the wheat? Time is running out. Watch the six o’clock news tonight.
Go to church and accept Jesus as the only living Son of God, before it is too late. He is the redeemer who will save you, or He is the solemn judge who will condemn you.
If your salvation is secure, what about those around you? Can you make an impact on anyone else? Why not witness to someone today? You will not be sorry, for your Father will observe and perhaps smile as you greatly please Him. What better way to start a week than to put a smile on God’s face?

Matt. 13:38
The field is the world, the good
seed are the sons of the kingdom,
but the tares are the sons of the
wicked one.
The enemy who sowed them is
the devil, the harvest is the end of
the age, and the reapers are the
angels.
Therefore as the tares are
gathered and burned in the fire, so it will
be at the end of this age.
