Every person on earth will eventually face storms in their life.
Christians and non-Christians alike will face difficult circumstance.
Perhaps it will be a serious illness or death of a loved one; perhaps it will be losing a job; maybe a bitter divorce; possibly a wayward son or daughter will break your heart, one thing for sure is no one escapes the storms of life. There is a difference in how we weather the storms.
Christians can look to the Lord to comfort them and help them through the fierceness of the worst that life can lay upon us. Jesus offers a better life that we can look to. Once this present world is conquered for good, Christians will spend eternity without storms.

The non-Christian is on their own. I have attended funerals of those who rejected Jesus and Christianity. In my mind there is no sadder thing than attending a funeral of a non-Christian. I have tried to encourage non-Christians as they faced their trials and storms of life.
It is difficult indeed. Only God can comfort us, and calm our spirit with His love and fill us with His peace. I have faced many storms and will continue to do so until the Lord comes to take me away to paradise.
Through it all God’s gentle hand is and will continue to be upon me, always encouraging and comforting me. The cup of wrath will not always be withheld as God’s perfect will for our lives works its mysterious course, but God does not forsake His children. Through it all, He is right there by our side. If you do not have the comfort of God’s love and His peace, there is some good news that I can share with you. All you have to do is ask Jesus into your life and He will immediately fill your spirit and heart with His love. Pretty cool, don’t you think?
____________

John 14:1
Let not your heart be troubled;
you believe in God,
believe also in Me.
In My Father’s house are many
mansions; if it were not so, I would
have told you. I go to prepare a
place for you.
And if I go to prepare a place
for you, I will come again and
receive you to Myself; that where I
am, there you may be also.
