Listen more – talk less

Most of us have a common problem in that we talk too much and don’t listen enough. Who hasn’t ended up in trouble at one time or other for talking too much, particularly when we should have been listening. I suppose that we should recognize that God gave us TWO ears and just ONE mouth. God’s handiwork is always like precision and He usually accomplishes several things simultaneously. In His infinite wisdom is it possible that through His perfect design He also reflects His desire for us to pick up on the fact that perhaps we need to listen at least twice as much as we talk? Don’t go for that one? Then listen to His straight talk advice:
